From the Forum:
"I was instructed by my supervisor to begin working from home. After six months, I asked whether this would be a permanent arrangement and was told that it would be. Based on that assurance, I invested in a proper desk, chair, and other equipment to create a productive home workspace. I adjusted my life around work and home.
Now, years later, I’ve been informed that I’m required to return to working in the office. This decision was communicated by the same supervisor, and I’m not sure whether I have any options. I consistently perform better from home and get more work done in that environment.
Has anyone else experienced a situation like this?"
We are a group of current and former employees and associates of ARUP Laboratories. We are using this site and forum to air grievances, expose perceived incompetence, intolerable work conditions and abuse at ARUP.
ARUP was once a pretty great company, winning awards and a good company to work for. Since the C-Suite has been playing musical chairs things aren't quite so good. In fact some believe we're on a bad path that threatens ARUP and many employees. Our desire is to return ARUP to a first class laboratory, restore employee confidence in management and increase profitability.
Employees have been terminated for expressing opinion. Do not access this site from ARUP or on any ARUP computer equipment.

This website is known as a “gripe site” in that it exposes a variety of “gripes” including but not limited to opinion, criticism and commentary on the business and management practices at ARUP Laboratories. This site is neither owned nor operated by Arup Laboratories.
